Guys, I'm planning a weeklong trip to Greece in May, what do you recommend? 3 night in Athens, and 4 somewhere else??

Comeon my greek friends, give me some loooove, tell me what's best to see and doooo!!! I'll be coming with a friend...

Hehehe .My opinion is to stay in Athens for 2-3 days.Go see acropolis and go for cofee.If it is possible u can meet Urizen or Byronara.They are living in Athens :D
Then hmmmm,its too early to go to an island :(....Then it depends on u how u want to spend ur last 4 days!!!U can come to mine city VOLOS(the best city of Greece)to see ME :D,the u can go more upper.U can visit Giannena to see Nofearz :D and u can go to Thessaloniki.Rachira's city!!Thessaloniki is a another good city for roaming and enterteiment.But i m telling u again i dont know what u want to do and how u want t spend ur time.If u had decided to come here IN SUMMER period then i would suggest u to go to islands.

Im away from Athens after 15 years since ill open my own computer Company at Ioannina. As Nos said stay for 2-3 days at Athens visit Acropolis and some other museums to see tha old Greek history live :D aswell dont forget to go by foot around Acropolis its awesome small streets with nice old fashion Tavernas (its for eating some Suvlaki and Tzatziki) after that go to some fancy clubs to watch the night clubing in Athens.Then would be nice to go to Thessaloniki north of Greece and on ur way to there make a stop at Volos where Nos lives :)

i will take care of u on Athens ... u know girls best clubs etc :P so try to come greece at least friday/saturday ...

Adter that i will say to u go upper like Nos said and end up at thessaloniki ..

Islands suckz at this period ..

also u can go for Snowboard at parnasos .. at this period has snow there .. i was there 1 week before and the snow was awesome :P

Athens is highly recommended during May. If you go to an island at that time of the year you ll prolly have only the frustration to remember. There is next to zero action there then, since its rather early in the summer season. You wont be able to party ~

Now, apart from Athens, Nosferatou is right. Volos owns. Its a city by the sea, rather quaint. Awesome tsipouro tavers (its sth like ouzo). I reckon that in May Bolos is gonna be really cool. Aint that right daddy Nos? :P

And no Amrix, May is NOT considered Summertime in Greece. No no no no.
