Character information i'll be playing a mage, mainspec dominator for pvp. though it'll undoubtedly change, i'm planning on using a build very similar to this: http://tinyurl.com/63jvbag i generally play offensive support in mmos, so dominator seems like it'll be solid. my playstyle is hardcore, though i have little interest in pve outside of using it to gain an advantage in pvp. Personal information Nationality: usa, currently living in scotland. Age / Gender: m, 24 Previous MMOs Experience: i've been a pvp/e-sports gamer forever, basically. started on sullon zek in eq1; played unreal tournament and counter-strike professionally; got 60ish million rps in daoc with some big names such as <desolate>, <lagged again>, <bibbidi bobbidi boo>, <NASA>; played monk in guildwars with top40 teams; multi-glad in WoW. Availability Days / Times: i'm a postgrad student, so i generally have loads of free time until a deadline starts approaching. Grind Endurance: no problem with grinding, as long as i'm grinding for a good reason. Ability and willpower to read up on forums: i'm a forumwarrior tbh~ Voice Comms: if i'm at my computer, i'm on ventrilo. Expectations i've had all i can stomach of WoW arena and i'm not buying that pos cata, so i'm looking for a new game that would be conducive to a hardcore competitive pvp scene. here's hoping rift turns out to be that game. Boss Why Boss?: i live in the uk now, and after a quick glance at the guild forums on the rift site it looks like you guys are the only eu/pvp guild that has their shit together. Last guilds name (and reason for leaving)?: never really done the "guild" thing - i've been part of the same tiny, ultra-hardcore pvp team since my eq1 days. however, we all lived in california, and since i live in scotland now, playing with them at this point is unfortunately unrealistic. Rate yourself from 1-10 Teamplay: 10 PVP Skill: 10 PVP Experience: 10 Survivability: 10 Ability to follow instructions: 10 not to sound arrogant with my ratings or whatever, but yeah - our little crew always operated in the top 0.5% of the pvp scene in every game we played. as long as you guys love small-medium sized pvp (not interested in zerging), i'll be a solid player for you. <3 |
