slightly off topic, the game is Order vs Destruction - so being in guilds matters only really in PVE? does this game have any bonuses that we as a guild could earn oursevles and so be the best on our side? The thing i loved about aoc was that there was no good or bad, just guilds. What will set us apart or give us fame in this game?

PvE, PvP and Guilds, all have levels, in these levels you open up new "tactics" to help you out, being in a guild will have benefits, not only from fighting alongside people you know. Pretty sure only Guilds can attack and take the Keeps in each lvl zone as your battle standard is draped over the keep to show its yours.

Same as any game, Guild = win, tho it should still be easy to play as solo/pug.

Id expect the PvE side to be semi-decent also, the "major" seiges (tier 5) is only every 2 weeks, so doing pve also should be persued so we dont get bored ;) i dotn think it will be as buggy and unrewarding as AoC.

Because we really need to be in the same server than those PvE carebears ?

From what I have seen so far in regards to the PVE, there will be plenty to keep us going as well as RVR and shiz.....

Personaly I prefer this gamestyle than that of AOC - time will tell about the bugs and shit but in no way can WAR be as bad as AOC imo

lol u have to admit it would be awsome to come across them in a fight, and totally demolish them.. all over again:D

u should have read their post.. something like... "we are moveing to WAR to play pvp as we intended, which we cant do in AoC due too no pvp content. or something:)

heres the link
http://translate.google.com/translate?u ... l=no&tl=en

makes me wonder if theyl ever be a good vpp guild =p "shrug" who knows... no evidence of it in AoC but anyway... ;p

its good that they did a review, mayb funcom will read it and get their arse in gear.

Proper fame comes from outplaying opponents as an skilled team "a guild", when enimies dont want too fight you because they know they will lose... that is fame:D

But ye as Alevia said, theirs things like guild banners which give buffs, also guilds can take over some siege castle things, and ofc theirs guild ranks also.
