Congratulations! You have qualified and been randomly selected to participate in the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Game Testing Program! Once you accept the invite, you will be able to download the game client by visiting http://www.swtor.com/tester and clicking the Download button. You will be granted access to the game for approximately 30 days starting Thursday, June 23, 2011. Beginning that date at 6:00PM GMT, you will be able to log into the game and begin playing.

One important thing to note, this is not a beta test and your role is not to find bugs, play every character, play every quest or anything that thorough. We want you to play this just like you would at home as a regular release. Don't feel pressured to do anything you would not normally do and try your best not to play any differently!

so if its not beta, what is it? alpha?

They are testing the subliminal advertising, so if you find your buying large amounts of Koolade and Oreo's you know its working.

so far game is awesome!!! i don't think i've played a better mmo for many years!!

We may have finally found "The One".

I'm going to hold judgement until I've seen end-game. But low/mid level content, PvE , group missions are all great. Having voice acting throughout is amazing, it's like lvls 1-20 in AoC, but all the way through!

The only aspect that's seriously lacking at the moment is Character Creation.

space combat is awesome, and it's hard!!!!! and everyone get's their own spaceship!!! and pet droid!!! can't complain.... although right now, i have 2 pet droids and a padawan!

How comes you always get to test something? I have never been chosen in my life to test a shit via random email. I always had some friend who sent me a buddy invitation. :evil:
