Well there was a post started on official forums as what you would like to see fixed in next patch, as you can imagine it very quickly got out of hand. Last time looked was over 40 pages.

So, what are our top 3 concerns with AoC. Ill list mine, 3 things that would change my experience totally in AoC.

1. The huge MS bursts (upto 10k) in all zones.
2. The lemming suicide bug.
3. the losing stats from crafted items when zoning.

Those are the three biggest game killers for me at the moment.
First 1 can stop us doing almost anything, from pve raids to sieges, 2nd makes sieging pointless. 3rd is more of an annoyance than a game stopper. strip, zone. re equip.

So whats your top 3 concerns?

Well, my 3 are:

1. Way too many bugs that need fixing and FunCom seem to have got their priorities wrong.
2. BK Seige needs fixing or put it on hold untill it is sorted because atm it is completely useless.
3. This game is supposed to be FFA PVP yet STILL they haven't implemented the PVP points system.

1- Already dying combat system and game mechanics

2- Game content

3- Game performances



1- The combat system is already dying, it's all about "to 1shot or to be 1shotted, that's the question", with armors+gems crafts you are an Imperial Battlecruiser + Deathstar combined, some people already got invulnerability capped (lol!) or are wandering around with +500dmg, and there are some posts on US forums about "Epic Kheshatta Bosses solo farming", what the point to go in endgame PvE or to wait for PvP gear if you already have better stuff by doing mongolian-like crafting, because when jewelers cut their stones, they are fucking throwing D20 dices to know the stone shape. Stats are like a fringe science, you need to call voodoo gods to figure what some stats are doing, some others appears to be broken, missing, or indiana jones sorcery.

2- Game content is actually MIA, you have broken PvE (YakhMOAR ADDS PLZ LULZ), missing PvP content with no ETA, no social content, poor crafting system, all you have to do is farming mobs to buy giant bag-o-baggy and fancy pony and voilà ! Itemization is terrible with random-like stats, blue items better then purples, etc. Oh and I won't talk about the missing announced features, because each time I see my drinking cape I want to eyestab pandas.

3- Kek. I have a bloody great top notch end computer, I can run Crysis or any FPS hunger with 60fps, I can run thirty photoshop filters with encoding animal porn without any lag, I can even launch fucking missiles if I want, so why the hell my Age of Conan client dies every time there are more than five people on screen ? Why each bloody time an instance is opened or close there is "10k-ms-lol-offline" bug, terrible perfomances in group PvP, lame Customer Support and horrible forums communication and community. And please don't talk about the group bug. Don't you fucking dare even give a think about it.

As I was saying on another post, I'm patient, I can even be a Jedi Master of patience or beat shaolins with my patience, but I really need to know what the fuck is going on in Funcom. We have problems here, give us answers, not patience.

I can echo two and three. Number one I guess is subjective, and whilst I agree in broader terms I've met a lot of nice people both in and out of [Boss] on my travels.

Hanging in there though, hoping for a spark to light this game up.

About the PvP xp and whatever it brings, I prefer it to be delayed than rushed out as a broken pile of unworking trash. Kinda like there pointless, mindless crafting system (grats Funcom on making THE worst crafting system in MMO history)

I remember reading about the crafting system, better quality resources will make better quality items, ability to craft weaps, armor even a city blah blah. Gave me sudden visions of the SWG crafting system. But instead we get this, this so called crafting system that lets you make lvl 40 gems as strong as lvl 80 gems, that are stackable to levels of stupidity. As aid, making players invulnarable or with insane damage output.

Been doing some reading on AO forums, get some idea of how Funcom have approached game breaking bugs in the past. To be honest ive been shocked. With AO since the ATI 2xxxx series has been released (over a year ago) there has been a huge problem with AO and them, text not showing, or only fragments in chat, mission descriptions, item descriptions. Basically making the game unplayable. From it being posted about it on the official AO forums it took them 4 months to reply. There reply it wasnt there fault and that it is ATI's and that they are in communication with them trying to resolve, Over one year from when it was seen it still exists.

This was happening 12 months ago+ its still happening today (when I took this screen) This is how much Funcom cares.

Edited bit: EQ1, UO, DAOC all run perfectly happy on my system. AO doesnt.

I had no idea about the stackable uber gems. Both Bond and Kw have very valid concerns here regarding pvp. Does this mean that certain classes in a 1v1 situation could theoretically be unkillable ?

1- The game has a zero-background-like, could be more interesting to have atleast a "small" background of the conan stories (even if they sucks).

2- The PvP is pure shit, i sometimes wana charge one guy, and it goes to another one because it has targeted someone else in last second (don't ask why..).

3- I'm a guardian and I have the choice : be protection or be kamikaze ? Try to choose wich one you'll enjoy to play in pvp : Be impossible to kil, even if you wants go drink a beer and afk while you press potion button every minutes, or go berserk and get one shooted ?

4- What do we have to aim for? I mean, in swg it was to be a jedi, or be the best crafter, or be the best pvper. In WoW it was to have the best raiding guild and have the best gear on the server. In AOC it's to hold a BK 2 hours per week and you can easely win by 1 guy suiciding himself in continue while 40 others try to attack the BK knowing they 'll lose vs this 1 guy.... (lol).

5- Seriously this is the worst grinding experience I ever had, this is boring to a point to where it becomes annoying to 200% there is nothing fun in it, it's boring, it's shit and as guardian it takes ten year to kill a fucking mob (and if i go berserk i have to use pots or i die too fast...).

6- The client performance, I have everything maxed, and the graphics are shit and oftenly freeze or even crash, and also this fucking 10 sec freeze saying it's reporting some shit message behind the client because we pay for a beta game. And because their client is shit, in the "3OMFG we wIlLd D0 teH b3st large scale battles of every mmo ever done!!!" they had to add some gay retarded and horrible fog so you don't see at more than 5 meters (kewl!).

7- I'm still waiting they fix the stuck bug when you are on a horse and dismounting into the ground (like when you were a baby playing with sand at the beach). I'm also disappointed about getting dismounted at every shit hit, that's just make the Mounted combat useless and pointless.

8- I have to wait like 15 minutes to launch the game, because of this scaning shit, or updating patch that are not there. And when you crash, and that you are in a group, you will just have lost your group because they won't be waiting you for 15 minutes to relog. Also, this stupid scaning makes me lazy to go play (if it was launching instantly like wow, I would maybe be online more oftenly).

9- Your character has 0 style, armors, clothes, weapons really have a shit design, I know it's not epic but HEY, come on how can you make that ugly armors seriously ???

10- The talent trees are very laughable when I see talents at tier 5 that require 31 points to get, and that tier 1 talents are better... lol

11- Why don't they make flypath or something i DUNOO, SHUTLLES.. ffs takes 10 years again to get to somewhere.

50% plus evade with gems and base +50% from dodge back=100% evade. unhittable.

13 slots for gear. 3 gems each, 39 slots. x1,4% evade/magic invuln/melee invuln. 54,6%. Thats not including base or talent increases on invulns, evade.
