Think of the biggest number you can, then double it. That's not even close to how much the game has improved. A massive turnaround since the new game director took over. Defended our Battlekeep last week, quite the most awesome display of explosions, running battles, mass killing and sniping.
Nobody gave us a chance against Rus Corps because of their heavy artillery in the form of battalions of demonologist siege specialists. But we had a little surprise waiting for them. Our own heavy artillery, leveled in secret and unleashed on them as they broke through the walls. It was a massive fight. They had ballista and trebuchet camps set up all over, which we tried to counter as best we could. It took them an hour and a half to reach our Battlekeep itself, and for 30 minutes we defended it at the top of the hill. With the Russians throwing wave after wave of attacks and being mowed down, and then killed en route back by our ranger snipers.
In the 30 minutes they tried to take the keep itself, they could only manage to get it to 89%. Because as soon as a ballista was set up, our demos blew it to smithereens in seconds. They tried at least 30 times to get their ballistas in place. Must have cost them a fortune.
Can't wait for the next update with the new commons zone and border kingdom fights, with no guards, no murder system consequences, and battling for resources. Possibly BRC wing 3 if rumour is to be believed.
